Mastering Hot Tub Filter Cleaning for Optimal Performance
Your hot tub might look spotless on the surface, but that doesn’t mean it’s working the way it should. If you ignore the filter for too long, the pump has...
Most home saunas don't need a heater that dominates the room. The HUUM Core was built with that in mind. It is a compact, cylindrical unit that fits neatly into smaller sauna interiors without crowding your bench space or clashing with your interior finish. Its minimalist Nordic profile works equally well in a traditional timber cabin and a clean contemporary build. What you get is a heater that quietly does its job, heats the room faster than most comparably sized units, and stays out of the way while it does it.
Our HUUM sauna heater range runs from 3.5kW to 9kW and connects to a dedicated armored cable supply. It pairs with the full UKU controller range, giving you wall-mounted control over temperature, humidity, and session timers. Buyers who want to walk into a ready room can add a UKU Wi-Fi model and preheat remotely through the HUUM app — set a time, and the sauna is at temperature before you get there. For setups that need extended UKU compatibility or additional control zones, the huum extension box expands what your control system can manage without requiring a full hardware change.
The wood-burning Core follows the same design lines but operates entirely off-grid. Load kiln-dried wood into the fire chamber, route the flue through your sauna wall or ceiling, and you have an authentic Finnish traditional session with no electrical connection needed. It's a strong choice for garden cabins, rural builds, or anyone who values the ritual of preparing the fire as part of the experience. Buyers planning a smaller dedicated wood-fired build may also want to consider the Huum Hive Flow Mini, which delivers the same off-grid performance in a configuration designed specifically for compact sauna cabins.
The standard sizing rule is 1kW per cubic meter of sauna room volume. For instance, a 4.5kW Core suits a room of around 4–5 cubic meters while the 9kW model handles up to 13 cubic meters. For a smaller dedicated cabin, check out the HUUM Drop series as well.
If your room volume is unclear, our sauna specialists can work through the calculation before you place an order.
The Core's stone cage is designed to hold a generous amount of olivine diabase stones, which helps produce soft, steady löyly throughout the sauna session. The amount of stone mass plays a key role in steam quality: when properly loaded, the stones release heat gradually as water is poured over them, rather than producing a sudden, harsh burst of steam.
Browse our huum stone heater collection for compatible replacement stones and accessories that keep your Core performing session after session.
Buyers who want the full setup ready to order in one go can choose from our [sauna heater packages], which pair a Core heater with matched stones, a UKU controller, and mounting hardware. Ordering as a package means every component is confirmed compatible at the point of purchase — nothing needs to be sourced separately or cross-referenced later.
Tell us your sauna's cubic volume and whether you're running an electric or wood-fired setup, and our team will confirm the correct kW rating before you commit. Browse the full Core range above, or explore our HUUM sauna heater packages for a complete matched build.
